Work commenced at Burnley Campus onMarch 25 2012, the project was to uplift timber decking to a large walkway which was a health and safety issue due to it being slippery. Lend Lease approached us for an alternative product to replace it. After research we came up with a deck board called Millboard, this was a fibre product which in turn gave low maintenance and greater anti slip.
We commenced with the project in a school week and had to work closely with the school to minimise interruption with the every day running.
The project was delivered on time with a good response to the quality of work. We are glad to confirm we are a main contractor for BSF schools and also Burnley Hospital with a health and safety record to suit.
